Halfcrown 1842 ESC 675, Bull 2717, UNC and choice, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 80, very few Young Head Halfcrowns of any date attain this high grade, as they are prone to contact marks in the wide fields, this a superior example with choice obverse fields, would make an excellent type coin for the advanced Halfcrown collector

Sovereign 1841 Marsh 24 the key date Victorian variety and with unbarred As in GRATIA EF the reverse better this being choice and lustrous, graded as 70 by CGS and in their holder
Sovereign 1842 with Open 2 over 1 in date, the underlying figure to the right of the 2, and joins the back of the curve. Also with the pointed 4 in the date, as normally associated with open 2 variety, this significant coin thus proving that the 1841 dies were re-used the following year. This also lends weight to the possibility of a 'pointed 4' 1841 coin, which, given the rarity of 1841 coin, would possibly be an even rarer type. The 1841 usually has a square top 4, (See the recent Bentley sale Lot 41) CGS Variety 05 graded CGS 45, the only example of type thus far recorded on the CGS Population Report, Very Rare
Third Guinea 1813 S.3740 in an NGC holder and graded MS64* PL, the bust and reverse design frosted, a superb example with choice eye appeal, coins with the star designation very close to the next higher grade, our archive database stretching back to 2003 shows that we have only previously offered one example, this a PCGS example offered in 2019. The NGC census shows only 15 examples graded in all grades
Twenty Pence 2022 Gold Proof in an NGC holder and graded PF70 Ultra Cameo, at the time of writing only 2 examples had been graded by NGC, with no examples graded by PCGS, the set containing this coin no longer listed on the Royal Mint website, the Twenty Pence to One Penny issues are at present only available as part of the long set

Sixpence 1862 Large Date, type as ESC 1711, Bull 3207 UNC and lustrous with an attractive golden tone, some very minor hairlines in the obverse field and an edge nick by the V of VICTORIA, the reverse choice. A key date Victorian rarity, with the large date accounting for only a small percentage of the overall mintage and by far the rarer type for this date, the two date sizes not differentiated by ESC, Bull or Davies. We note also that only two examples of the large date type have been graded by LCGS, the finest being LCGS 65, which realised £700 hammer price when auctioned in LCA A170 September 6th 2010
