USATrade Dollar 1876CC Tall CC, Type I Obverse with scroll pointing left, Type II Reverse with no berry below claw, Breen 5806 , Breen states 'usually in low grades', this Good VF, attractively toned, with a small field scratch below the motto, the first of this date and type we have offered
USATrade Dollar 1878S Breen 5820 UNC and colourfully toned with underlying brilliance Ex LCA 132 Lot 837 (realised £460 hammer) now encapsulated by NGC as AU58+ the closest grade to the MS grades (AU59 is not used so the next grade is MS60) some high points friction and bag marks obverse presumably the reason for this conservative AU+ NGC grade, we have certainly seen worse coins in NCG MS holders.
