Shilling 1727 George II, PlumesESC 1189, Bull 1694 EF/GEF and lustrous, minor haymarks on the reverse barely detract, an outstanding example and by far the finest we have offered of this rare type. This piece would enhance any high quality Shilling collection. Very Rare and almost unobtainable in this high grade, our archive database stretching back to 2003 shows that the previous finest example offered was graded NVF/VF, so actual figures show that this is much scarcer than catalogue values would suggest

Shilling 1721 Roses and PlumesESC 1171, Bull 1577 (8 strings to Harp) EF the obverse with some haymarking, our records indicate this is the first we have offered since 2003, whereas we have offered all the various overdates for this year, so probably rarer than the 'R' rating given by ESC, Cataloguer's Note, there is evidence of doubling to the 21 in the date but is quite different to examples of the published overdates we have studied, also Bull states the overdates have 7 or 9 harp strings and the Plain date coin has 8 harp strings, graded 65 by LCGS
