A , large flan type circa 125 BC. Weighs 7.3 grams. Head of left. R. celticized horse left, flower below, star above, two pellets in annulets on exergual line. Sills 291. V.A.12-1. S.1. Very fine, centrally struck both sides, small scrape on obverse. Superb example for its type. Famous type being listed by Spink as their number 1 (S 1) and hence the earliest listed coin ever to circulate in Britain
