The of just 2 examples recorded by the LCGS Population Report. One of the key date rarities in the n Sovereign series. We note this coin now lists at £4000 in VF and £9000 EF in the Standard Catalogue. Notes in the Bentley Collection Catalogue state that only three Die Numbers have been seen for this date (28, 32 and 33), although others are claimed to exist (namely 12,15, 34 and 35) they have not been traced.
