A Victorian gaucho coin studded money belt with three pockets comprising a fastener of six Argentina Pesos 1882 and having a large hand-engraved buckle stamped 'J.Fernandez'. The main leather body of the belt has 20 Centavos (115) and 10 Centavos (25) Argentina and Bolivia issues all 1880s, in mixed grades, this and other attachments gives a total silver weight in the region of 25 Troy oz. An unusual item.
