Thomas Graham Dundas arrived in Calcutta on October 4th 1825, and was entitled to Bhurtpoor prize money of 2381 Rupees (£238 sterling) which he did not claim in India. Comes with copy of India Office Library and Records stating record of service, date of commission of rank as Ensign 13th May 1825, and Lieutenant 19th Oct.1836, also List of services - Posted as Ensign to 15th N.I. 1825. Siege and Capture of Bhurtpore, Ensign 15th N.I. (India Medal). Transferred as Lieutenant to 4th Extra Regiment (became 72nd N.I) from 19th Oct.1826, after his marriage in 1832 to Margaret Maria Louisa, 3rd daughter of Edward Swift Broughton. After a period of furlough, from 10th September 1833, he failed to report for his return and subsequently resigned his commission on 3rd Feb. 1835.
