Penny 1874H Freeman 69 dies 6+I UNC with around 15-20% lustre, in an NGC holder and graded MS63 BN, very rare, rated R16 by Freeman, rarer in higher grades, as our archive database stretching back to 2003 shows that we have never offered this type in higher than Fine, this a superb example and would enhance any high quality Bronze Penny Collection. We note the Laurie Bamford example sold in 2006 was only graded VF
Penny 1862 2 over 1 in date, unlisted by Freeman, Gouby BP1862G (J+g), Satin 38A, VG with pitted surfaces, the partial upright of the underlying 1 clear above the upward curve and below the base of the 2 (see illustrations in Gouby, page 45), one of the key Bun Penny extreme rarities, with only a few known, our archive database stretching back to 2003 indicates this is only the second example we have offered

Approaching Fine and one of the key rarities of the early Bun Penny series
Penny 1856 Plain Trident Peck 1510 UNC with the lightest touches of cabinet friction, the obverse with some subdued lustre, the reverse with two very small tone spots compares favourably and with better overall colour than the example sold in the Roland Harris collection London Coins Auction A124 1/3/2009 Lot 662. A very rare coin in this high grade
Halfpenny 1687 Tin, Peck 544 with the date, legend and punctuation all clear on the edge, Fine or better for issue with some surface marks as always, a bold and collectable example and considerably superior to those usually encountered for this issue

Penny 1827 Peck 1430 approaching Fine/Fine for wear with some small areas of verdigris on the obverse, the surfaces pitted as found on the vast majority of Pennies of this date

Penny 1853 Ornamental Trident Peck 1500, similar in style to Gouby date style D with the 3 directly above a rim tooth and closer to the 5, this example though has the 1 of the date pointing directly to a rim tooth, UNC with around 75% lustre, an unusual type in choice grade
