The Limited Fourth issue 5 s Pick 189 (PMS CL20e, BY SC305d) dated 5th May 1943 in small sans serif capitals with a very attractive true BINARY serial number Z2/W 0001000 bearing the signatures Andrew Mitchell titled General Manager and Robert Young titled Accountant & ier. The note in blue and red with the obverse featuring an ornate panel at left with s and the Bank's monogram in cursive along with the City of Glasgow's 'Let Glasgow Flourish' Coat of Arms at upper centre. The reverse in blue featuring an elaborate guilloche panel with an enlarge Glasgow's Coat of Arms as on obverse flanked by denomination numerical values.
