The note in blue and red with the obverse featuring an ornate panel at left with thistles and the Bank's monogram in cursive along with the City of Glasgow's 'Let Glasgow Flourish' Coat of Arms at upper centre. The reverse in blue featuring an elaborate guilloche panel with an enlarge Glasgow's Coat of Arms as on obverse flanked by denomination numerical values.
