The notes in black on green and yellow underprint featuring Coat of Arms at upper centre and cameo portrait of Queen at right on obverse and reverse in green with facing portraits of Charles Sturt and Hamilton Hume. Captain Charles Napier Sturt (28 April 1795 – 16 June 1869) was a explorer of Australia, and part of the an exploration of Australia.
