Signed H. F. Ereaut titled Treasurer of The States of Jersey. The note in blue on light brown and blue underprint featuring Jersey's Coat of Arms at upper left, a horse drawn cart and man Silhouette in the underprint and the serial number in black with the prefix and signature embedded in the printing on obverse and the reverse depicting the same scene as the obverse but in blue. Thick Chain watermark. Together with 5 Pounds Pick 21a (BY JE24a) ND 1993 signature George Baird and a very first prefix for this type serial number CC 188131, about UNC - UNC. Maroon on multicolour QE2 portrait and denomination in solid print at upper right on obverse. The reverse with an illustration of La Corbiere lighthouse. JerseyTreasury of the States 1 PoundPick 6a (BY JE6) World War II German Occupation Period note issued in April 1942 and June 1942 ND with the prefix JN only. This note bears the very LOW number of 200 and the signature H. J. Eraut titled Treasurer of the States of Jersey. The note in purple on green underprint featuring Jersey's Coat of Arms at upper left, the serial number in black and the prefix and signature embedded in the printing on obverse and the reverse illustrating Men with horse cart gathering seaweed. Thick Chain watermark. The Channel Islands have the unenviable distinction of the only British teritories to be occupied by the German Forces during the war and since change was in short supply, the Islanders issued their own currency and even used the German notes. It was not until 9th May 1945, day after Victory in Europe Day (also known as VE Day or V-E Day in North America), where freedom became reality for the Bailiwick of Jersey. UNC, pressed and Exceptionally Rare in this high grade considering the low printing of 11,000 notes. At the time of writing PMG has only 9 recorded examples on their Population Report

The note in green on a multi-coloured underprint featuring a young portrait of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II at right on obverse and the reverse illustrating the view of Mont Orgueil Castle ('Mount Pride' or 'Haughty Mount') also known as Gorey Castle by English speakers which construction was undertaken following the division of Duchy of Normandy in 1204 and it was first mentioned in 1212. The castle was the primary defence of Jersey until the development of gunpowder which then rendered the castle ultimately indefensible from Mont Saint Nicholas, the adjacent hill which overlooks the castle. Printed by Thomas de La Rue & Company, London inscribed in small script at lower centre margin on reverse and watermarked with a Cow's head. VF - GVF, a Scarce and interesting error
