Halfcrown 1930 ESC 779 NGC UNC Details Obverse cleaned. To us this looks like a Choice piece with no evidence of having been cleaned. A key date rarity in very high grade
Halfcrown 1930 ESC 779, Bull 3739, EF with touches of golden tone in the legends, a most attractive example, this key date seldom seen in grades EF or better
Halfcrown 1925 ESC 772, Bull 3727 UNC and lustrous, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 78, a very high grade example of this key date rarity, in our opinion rarer than the 1930 Halfcrown in this high grade
Halfcrown 1930 ESC 779, Bull 3739 Choice UNC and fully lustrous, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 82, a superb piece the obverse in particular with stunning eye appeal, the key date in the series and the finest known of 19 examples thus far recorded by the LCGS Population Report. This would be a choice addition to any advanced Halfcrown collection
Halfcrown 1925 ESC 772, Bull 3727 UNC or very near so and lustrous, with only very minor cabinet friction, a well struck example with strong hair detail for this issue. A most pleasing and attractive coin with plenty of eye appeal, a key date and very rare in this high grade, and in our experience much rarer than the 1930 Halfcrown in this condition
Halfcrown 1925 ESC 772, Bull 3727 UNC and highly lustrous, the obverse enhanced by a hint of gold tone. Extremely rare in high grade, and in our opinion far more rare than the 1930 Halfcrown in this high grade. A very desirable coin in this grade and seldom offered this nice. In an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 78. We note that an LCGS 75 example offered in London Coins Auction A140 as far back as 2/3/2013 realised £600 hammer price
Halfcrown 1925 ESC 772, Bull 3727 Lustrous EF with some minor contact marks, a most attractive example with excellent eye appeal, in our opinion much rarer than the 1930 coin in high grades
Halfcrown 1925 ESC 772, Bull 3727 in a PCGS holder and graded MS64, the joint highest grade for this rare date recorded by the PCGS Population Report, always a very rare coin in high grades, in our opinion the 1925 scarcer in high grade than the 1930 coin
Halfcrowns (2) 1925 ESC 772, Bull 3727 VF or slightly better with some lustre and some toning on either side, 1930 ESC 779, Bull 3739 GVF/NEF and retaining some lustre, lightly toning, the key dates in their respective series
Halfcrown 1925 ESC 772, Bull 3727 UNC with minor contact marks and tiny rim nicks only, an outstanding example, with original colour and lustre. In our experience much rarer than the 1930 in this superb state, and on consulting our archive database, stretching back to 2003, the finest example we have offered
