Note: The Intercalated Summer Olympics was attended by athletes from 20 countries, held in Athens, Greece, this was considered to be Olympic games and was referred to as the 'Second International Olympic Games in Athens' bt the International Olympic Committee, however the medals that were distributed are not officially recognised by the Olympic Committee. It was intended to hold the event every four years in Greece in the intermediate years between the Official Olympic Games, however, only the 1906 event actually took place.
