Halfpenny 1735 Peck 849 A/UNC toned, in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 70, the only example and therefore finest thus far recorded by the LCGS Population Report, from over 44,000 coins submitted, Ex-Andrew Wayne collection 5/6/2006 lot 987, many of the early Copper Halfpennies deceptively scarce or rare in high grades, one of the earliest coins submitted to LCGS (UIN 33) and after a further 44,000 coins graded this has yet to be beaten

Halfpenny 1862 Die Letter B to the left of the lighthouse, Freeman 288, dies 7+E, LCW on rock. EF/NEF with some edge nicks and light surface residue. By far the finest example we have offered of this extremely rare type, rated R18 by Freeman. In our experience the rarest of the three main die letter types. Online research shows NGC have only graded 2 examples, the highest graded 45, PCGS have not graded a single example, and LCGS have only graded 2 examples, the highest being Fine 25, so this potentially the finest remaining example
Halfpenny 1862 B over R in BRITT, also double struck 6 in the date. Excessively Rare, the variety recorded by Gouby for the Penny (BP1862H) but we believe this to be the first recorded Halfpenny with the same overstrike. UNC or near so with around 40% lustre
Halfpenny 1862 Die Letter A to the left of the lighthouse, Freeman 290A, dies 7+G, NEF evenly toned, with a little surface residue in places. Rated R17 by Freeman. The only piece recorded by the LCGS Population Report. Choice George II copper extremely hard to obtain and seldom offered in this quality.
