Transport, a group of three to J.C. Kerkham Transport Medal 1899-1902 with China 1900 clasp (to J.C. Kerkham), British War Medal (to Lt.Commr. J.C.Kerkham R.N.R.) and RoyalNaval Reserve Decoration George V, this with hallmarks for London, 1916, first two GVF cleaned, last about EF, on a mounting bar for wearing. The Transport medal was the last of the medals associated with the major conflicts of the 19th Century , and was awarded to officers of the merchant vessels used to carry troops and supplies to the wars in China and South Africa.
