This and the other two Proof coins from a provincial sale also containing items from the estate of McCormick believed to be descendants of the McCormick family of International Harvester of Chicago, major exhibitors at the Columbian Exposition of 1892, so would explain how he obtained these Proof pieces. We note another Proof example sold for $42,250 in 2002, very seldom offered for sale, a rare opportunity
