1652 Large Pine Tree Issue Breen 50, Noe 34, Two Pellets flank trunk, NEW ENGLAND .. D of ENGLAND correctly aligned, III more widely spaced, reverse with the distinctive die flaw on the lower arc of the 6, this directly above the middle I of III, the obverse off-centre towards 12 o'clock as often with this die pairing, the reverse off-centre with the legend off flan between 6 and 9 o'clock, 1.00 grammes, NEF/GVF for issue with some scratches above the 52 of the date, a small edge crack at 7 o'clock on the reverse barely detracts, not visible from the obverse of the coin, a rare opporty to obtain an early US piece in collectable grade, we note examples in similar grades have been realising upwards of $5400 in US auctions]
