Together with a selection of Iraq (5) various denominations of Gulf War captured currency stamped "Certified Official / Ministry of Defence" consisting of a 1 Dinar Pick 69a dated 1984. 5 DinarsPick 70a dated 1981. 10 Dinars Pick 71a dated 1982. Along with 25 Dinars (2) including the Pick 73a dated 1986 and the Pick 72 dated 1982. A near complete denomination set, these notes were captured by the British 1st Armoured division in the Persian Gulf War. During the attack into Iraq, and the dash across Kuwait north of Kuwait city, they overran and occupied a number of Iraqi headquarters, military installations and advancing 290 kilometres they managed to destroy 3 Iraqi divisions and capturing or destroying more than 4000 Iraqi tanks and armoured vehicles along with capturing several million dollars of Iraqi currency. The seized currency was sent back to England's Ministry of Defence Cash Management Branch where they were certified and given these hand stamps.

World (10) an interesting and very collectible group of notes in various grades mostly GVF - EF to about UNC - UNC and comprising a Scarce Russian Civil War East Siberia -Chita 100 Rubley "Sparrows" Gosudarstvenniy Bank (State Bank) - Chita branch Pick S1187b 1920 Ataman Semenov's money issued by the Government of the Russian Eastern Border Regions, variety with cubes in frame on reverse. These notes were called Sparrows due to their grey paper and were printed later in blue reason being, whatever ink was available that is what was used to print. The fate of the “sparrows” was a foregone conclusion: even when released, their cost was 2 times lower than that of Kolchak’s “Siberian squirrels”. And by the end of 1920, their value was striving for zero. Also, a very attractive and very well-preserved selection of USA Obsolete Currency of various issuers and denominations (5) comprising a Bank of New-England at Goodspeed's Landing East Haddam, Connecticut2 Dollars unissued remainder circa 1800's. Green-blue obverse featuring Coin depicting King George V at right and reverse with the serial number and a design featuring the Royal Cypher with a crown and 1 rupee coin dated 1935. This note printed in England and this issue could not be introduced at the time due to the death King George V in January 1936 and it was only accepted to circulate these notes at par with the metallic silver rupee folowing the outbreak of the Second World War and the ensuing commodity scarcity around Silver i.e. this being a unique issuing where notes were released after the death of a monarch and also the only note to feature the serial number on the reverse.
