Florin 1860 ESC 819, Bull 2845 UNC or very near so, a small edge nick by D:G: and very minor contact marks only prevent this from being choice. The obverse attractively toned, the reverse lustrous with a hint of tone and with plenty of eye appeal, the fields with only a fraction of the contact marks normally encountered on the Gothic series. Comes with old sales ticket from 1972
Florin 1858 close ccc in date ESC 816B, Bull 2839, Davies 731 UNC the obverse with olive and gold tone, the reverse with touched of blue and magenta tone. Ex-Cheshire Collection NGC MS64 (the NGC ticket no longer with the coin.) In an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 82, the only example of this date and type recorded by the LCGS Population Report. All Gothic Florins difficult to find in grades 80 and above, the LCGS Population statistics show only 22 currency coins of all Gothic dates have achieved grades above 80

Florin 1874 ESC 843 Die Number 263, this by far the highest recorded die number for the 1874 coin (the previous highest recorded number is 64, this being very rare) EF/GEF and attractively toned with a few very minor rim nicks, the reverse with prooflike fields. Possibly an early working test for 1874 with the numbered obverse die from 1873, very rare and according to the vendor, who has studied the die number series over a 15 year period one of only two pieces known with this die number/date combination. A highly significant coin for both die number collectors and Gothic Florin collectors
