Farthing 1673 No Stops on Obverse Peck 525, better than Fine, bold and clear, superior to the Cooke collection example, where his catalogue states 'very few known examples.' Interestingly, struck from a different reverse die with a wider date spacing, this possibly close to, if not the finest known example of the type
Farthings Charles II (10) an interesting study group 1672 (2), 1672 Loose drapery, 1673, 1674 (4), 1674 L of CAROLO over lower L, 1674 R of CAROLO over O, with old collector's tickets, VG to Good Fine
Halfpenny 1673 Peck 510 practically EF and sharp with a small spot by the truncation, a superb example of this notoriously weak issue, Farthing 1675 Peck 528 VG or better, bold for the grade
Five Guineas 1673 VICESIMO QVINTO S.3328 About EF/EF with some contact marks, a nicely struck pleasing example with much eye appeal, a slightly better but similar coin of the same date from the Slaney collection auction in mid-May sold for £162,000
Crown 1673 VICESIMO QVINTO ESC 47 EF toned, scarce this nice, a slightly better but similar coin of the same date from the Slaney collection auction in mid-May sold for £39,000
Halfpenny 1673 Peck 512 with No stops on the obverse. Listed as simply 'Extremely Rare' by Spink with no price given, a full grade better than the Nicholson collection example and superior to the Peck plate coin (obverse only is shown) seldom seen above Fine, this coin a well-struck VF with some old scratches on the obverse, we note we have only offered two examples in 12 years, this example previously sold in London Coins Auction A110 5/9/2005 Lot 884 for £850 hammer price
