The Who were formed in the early 1960s and are one of the most successful bands of all time having sold over 100 million albums. This impressive coin features a design featuring a stylized Rickenbacker guitar shaped like a pinball table, in honour of the band's 'Pinball Wizard' track from their critically acclaimed and highly successful Rock Opera 'Tommy'. The band are members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and have had huge success with songs such as 'My Generation', 'Who Are You?' and 'Won't Get Fooled Again' the last two of which are still used today as theme songs for the popular TV series' CSI and CSI
